Breakfast is served daily 08:00–10:30 in our restaurant. We recommend 08:00–09:30 for the freshest hot dishes. For early departures, a packed breakfast bag can be arranged the evening before.
Is it a buffet or set menu?
We serve a traditional Turkish set breakfast (tabldot style) rather than a buffet. Each table receives a fresh spread of Black Sea dishes — this ensures hot, freshly prepared items rather than pre-set buffet trays. Portions are very generous.
Are vegan or gluten-free options available?
Yes. Vegans receive an extended plant-based spread. Gluten-free guests are served mısır ekmeği (corn bread) — actually a traditional staple. Please inform us 24 hours in advance. We accommodate dairy-free and children's preferences too.
What is mihlama?
Mihlama is the Eastern Black Sea's iconic dish — cornmeal, local butter and Hemşin tulum cheese cooked together in a copper pan until the cheese melts into a stretchy, fondue-like consistency. It is served warm at breakfast, included in your room rate. A truly unmissable culinary experience.
